Cabe destacar que se alzó con seis importantes galardones en los Critics Choice Awards, incluyendo Mejor Largometraje Documental, Mejor Director, Mejor Ópera Prima Documental, Mejor Montaje, Mejor Documental de Archivo y Mejor Documental Musical, y recibió el premio al Mejor Documental de la National Board of Review.
