Inspirado en los legendarios violinistas cuyas deslumbrantes piezas y conmovedoras melodías enamoraron a David Garrett desde niño, Iconic incluye más de veinte temas con música de Bach, Dvořák, Gluck, Kreisler, Mendelssohn y Schumann, entre muchos otros, y se presenta en arreglos para violín, guitarra y orquesta. Garrett cuenta con arreglos a dúo con su antiguo profesor Itzhak Perlman, el tenor estrella Andrea Bocelli, el flautista Cocomi y el trompetista Till Brönner.

La selección musical personal de David Garrett evoca la época dorada de los virtuosos del violín, cuando intérpretes como Zino Francescatti, Arthur Grumiaux, Jascha Heifetz, Fritz Kreisler y Yehudi Menuhin deleitaron al público con bises populares y otras piezas compactas.
